RF Engineer

Job Duties: Conduct site surveys, installation, integration, and troubleshooting of GSM-PCS-UMTS-AWS-5G-FNET-LTE 700 MHz within base transceiver stations. Analyze LTE 4G and 5G networks using ATOLL for optimal RF deployment. Perform network optimization for LTE and 5G spectrum across diverse macro and small cell sites. Evaluate PIM detection, OTDR, optical power, and RFoCPRI layer 1/2 interference using Viavi T-BERD/MTS 5800, Anritsu Site Master, Kaelus iPA PIM Analyzer, and Spectrum Analyzer. Prepare and configure the ATOLL database to create the RFDS and update the site design. Generate CIQ, set up ERP values, assign eNBs and gNBs, and update Geo Plan/ATOLL for various RF spectrums. Generate site EME reports using RoofMaster and AXUS to ensure RF transmission complies with FCC regulatory standards. Review construction plan drawings for 5G NR/LTE integration and suggest parameter changes to optimize existing sites. Provide RF support to construction and site acquisition and prepare RF affidavits and documentation for site development. Required Tools and Technologies: ATOLL, Viavi T-BERD/MTS 5800, Anritsu Site Master, Kaelus iPA PIM Analyzer, Airspace, iBwave, SiteSafe AM Tool, XCAL, Spectrum Analyzer, AXUS, RoofMaster.

Other: Full Time. Travel involved to unanticipated client locations within the US.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent + 1 year of experience in the job offered or related. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is accepted.
