Job Duties: Define business needs and translate them into data analysis requirements while managing stakeholder expectations. Collaborate closely with stakeholders during the requirements analysis process, providing timely updates and addressing concerns. Create and maintain databases in Oracle and Snowflake. Design and implement ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, Unix, and big data technologies. Optimize ETL pipelines for performance by tuning queries and resolving bottlenecks. Develop and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions. Utilize a variety of AWS technologies, including S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, and Step Functions, continuously learning new technologies to increase efficiency and provide new capabilities. Migrate data from Amazon EC2 to Amazon RDS using DB Link and File Transfer Package and import data using the Data Pump utility. Integrate AWS RDS with AWS S3 for data ingress and egress capabilities. Participate in data migration projects, successfully moving data from Hive to Redshift.
Other: Full Time. Travel involved to unanticipated client locations within the US.
