As the client scaled its teams and operations, multiple leadership challenges began to surface across engineering and delivery functions. Some include: 

  • Rapid internal promotions left several team leads without prior leadership experience or structured exposure to management practices.

Our solution 

GenSpark, in partnership with a leadership learning design firm, delivered a tailored Tech Leadership Development and Modern Engineering Program that blended structured learning with coaching and applied assignments. 

The program followed a 70:20:10 model to balance theory with application. 

  • Structured learning sessions covered topics such as stakeholder management, delivery governance, scaling agile across multi-client setups, estimation and planning, system thinking, and business value articulation. 
  • On-the-job assignments helped participants apply concepts directly within their functions, with guided support. 
  • Individual and group coaching enabled participants to refine their learning, reflect on team and org impact, and build a department-level action plan across People, Tech, and Org dimensions. 

Participants finalized their plans through feedback loops with senior leadership, enabling practical implementation and internal alignment.
